Sooo it seems everyone is out enjoying summer, I wish I was too, but the weather over here in Germany is terribly! Rain, Sun, rain again it feels like april, even if the temperatures are summerish, but the humidity is killing me!so most of the times in the evenings I'm sitting here watching the sunset out of my huge living room windows and enjoying some needlecrafting.

I have started a crochet project for Charlottes new room, huge pillows with a border of chrochet flowers. Taka a peek, I love the look of the box filled with colorful yarn. I love it so much that I havent unpacked it and put it to my crafts basket.





I also found a new obsession, needle felting, my BF gave me a coupon to a crafts store for my birthday half a year ago, and I used it to get me some wool and needles. Now for her birthday I wanted to make her a cute little keyring pendant. First I started with something pink, matching the present I got to tease her a bit. But later I realized it wont fit her style, and I wanted to make something she fall in love with.

So here is my first attempt:

I made it with two different hingers, I decided to go with the one without the pearls, since my friend is a no nonsense kind of gal. She recently moved to a new appartment, and her birthday party was kind of a house warming party too. So I got her this cute tool set:




I love that it is handy and pink! Although I knew she would get the reference as me mocking her a bit... Now I'm dying to take a photo with her and the pink hammer.

As usuall I had no gift wrapping paper by my hand and instead of going out into the rain and buy some I used my craftspaper and a flower I cut out from the leftovers of our wall paper. A simple black ribbon, and voila a cheap and classy gift wrapping:
