I'm sorry I'm so slow with updating my blog, but real live tends to get into my way everytimt I feel the need to write here a bit, so this isnt actually my newest kit, but it is awesome none the less. (modisty your name is definelty not Ziska ;))

I was planning to create a Minikit, but this Kit really grow on me while designing it, I wasnt looking at it and it turned out to become a full kit.

So here is the big News after a long time offline due to some personal health problems I'm back with new stuff.

My first official Orchard Kit is Lily of the Valley, I was sitting at my Mom's beautiful Garden and enjoying the warm spring sun, the smell of the Lily of the Valley flowers in the air. This inspiration I used to create this soft colored Kit with plenty of elegant Elements.
I admit I might be a bit inspired of the pretty dress my daughter was gifted from her godmother, so sensation over sensation (at least for me) I scrapped a page too:

I'm back with a new kit

I dont know how often I start with these words, when it comes to blogging, but I'm back again. And since I'm still in a some kind of Grinch mood, aside from baking cookies my new kit isnt really chistmas. But I really think it fits really nice into the season. I named it Black Sunday Afternoon, a Song title from Anna Ternheim which fittet perfectly with the kit.

I've played with textpath's a bit this time, and I hope you have fun using it!

Another news is, I have a new guest CT member Vickilyn, and she just made the most adorable project with my Little Buggy kit.

Sooo it seems everyone is out enjoying summer, I wish I was too, but the weather over here in Germany is terribly! Rain, Sun, rain again it feels like april, even if the temperatures are summerish, but the humidity is killing me!so most of the times in the evenings I'm sitting here watching the sunset out of my huge living room windows and enjoying some needlecrafting.

I have started a crochet project for Charlottes new room, huge pillows with a border of chrochet flowers. Taka a peek, I love the look of the box filled with colorful yarn. I love it so much that I havent unpacked it and put it to my crafts basket.

I also found a new obsession, needle felting, my BF gave me a coupon to a crafts store for my birthday half a year ago, and I used it to get me some wool and needles. Now for her birthday I wanted to make her a cute little keyring pendant. First I started with something pink, matching the present I got to tease her a bit. But later I realized it wont fit her style, and I wanted to make something she fall in love with.

So here is my first attempt:

I made it with two different hingers, I decided to go with the one without the pearls, since my friend is a no nonsense kind of gal. She recently moved to a new appartment, and her birthday party was kind of a house warming party too. So I got her this cute tool set:

I love that it is handy and pink! Although I knew she would get the reference as me mocking her a bit... Now I'm dying to take a photo with her and the pink hammer.

As usuall I had no gift wrapping paper by my hand and instead of going out into the rain and buy some I used my craftspaper and a flower I cut out from the leftovers of our wall paper. A simple black ribbon, and voila a cheap and classy gift wrapping:

Top shelf find and a freebie

             Look what I found hiding in the top shelf, while I was preparing to begin to organize our move. Now all the thinking of organizing was gone. I almost forgot about my beautiful acryl paint! I started a little project with them which I will show you when it is done and shiped. It is a surprise for a friend, so I will show it once it arrived at her place.

Inspired by me painting again, I created this little freebie for you all to enjoy!

I searched through etsy today for some cute ideas for my Daughters upcomming third birthday, and I found the pattern for this cute tea set, which totally reminded me of my garden tea party kit.

The good thing with Vectors are resizable without any quality loss, easy to tweak and recolor, my workflow usually is drawing and coloring in illustrator, copy and paste to photoshop and add some texture. (yes I'm addicted to paper texture overlays)

The good news is we are about to sign the contract for our new flat this weekend. YAY we ended with the one with the really huge glass extension porch. According to the plans only the glass eytension is bigger than Charlottes room now. So this week I was busy searching for interior ideas...
A absolute given is we will have to find our nice black and white wallpaper again:

Ok, only one wall as a accent, but I'm really excited to start to setup the rooms, if only we could do it without the moving part... I have a fear of boxes since our last move.

For all of you who wasnt able to get into SBG this weekend, I extended my sale till friday july 10. I'm not at home right now, and on a verry limited internet time, so I was not able to react on the SBG server issues in the right time.

What keeps my offline is we was looking at different appartments this week, because in 3 month we plan to move to Leipzig. Right now we havent found the perfect one, which suits all our needs. Hello world I have a confession to make

I'm the one with the worlds most screwn up time planning skills, or should I say no skills to work with deadlines in any way. So this weeks messed up day was friday, we was so excited about Jan comming home after a really hard week and have a family alone weekend. I called him and asked when I thinks this project is finished and he comes home to us, and he told me he isnt finished at all, and more and more problems showing up, so he isnt able to catch the last train to Dresden. :( It was evening already, and I was not sure if Charlotte would go well with me packing our stuff and catch the train to Leipzig. So we decided we would take a train in the morning. While I spend the night alone, the good news was I was able to finish the kit I was working on forever. Ok, it took me till 4am in the morning. I left my laptop on to upload and went to bed, later in the morning I realized I forgot to rename the files...

But since I havent packed anything while working on the kit, I realized I had to take my laptop with me, which I hadnt planned, seriously I love having a 17" laptop, but taking it somewhere is a pain! So while I was hunting for our clothes and stuff I told DD to bring me the things she likes to take with her, and while I was not watching she unpacked all the clothe from the backpack, next thing I told her to put her clothe on, and she undresses her self. So it was 9.50am when we was at the tram station, and 10.02 the train was leaving in the station. So I was running with the freaking huge backpack (somehow my smaler one disapeared and I had to take Jan's) and Charlotte sitting on my sholders because she didnt want to walk on her own. We catched the tram, arraived at the main station, bought the ticket bought something for breakfest and catched the train!!!
I think this counts as workout!
It was so great to see Jan in Leipzig at the gate, we had a awesome family saturday today.

So to come to the kit I was talking about, I uploaded Playtime, my Minikit from the second FEMNZ collab grabbag. I planned to make a collection out of it, but it grew and grew till it was a full kit on it's own.

Strawberry Sunday

Easter was the last time we visit my parents, we couldnt go there because my SIL is pregnant, and we wouldnt risk her catching some vires of my daugther. On the phone my mom talks about the strawberry patch in her garden, and all the huge strawberrys they are eating, I'm jealous, I love strawberrys, and my mom's are the best ever. So instead of eating some I created this kit to scrap pictures of summer, and eating strawberrys, now I'm on my way to my local fruit guy and buy some, not the same but still good.

Into the Blues

I have to appologize for being such a lazy blogger lately, but reall life is crazy right now, I had to bail out from SYTYCD because, my daugther was sick, we had one month of several sicknesses in a row. Luckiely now she is fine again, and things are settling to normal. I'm alone with her at home, because Jan's new job took him 150km away from us. We are looking for a new place to live near by his place to work in the next 2 month, so things might stay screwed up. I really look forward to ive near the grandparents again, right now they are 110km away in the same direction as Jans new job, so our move brings us closer to them.

I stop babeling, and announce what I should have done two weeks ago, I'm guesting at TDC!

This weeks challenge was to design a kit inspired by a beatles song, I was pretty undecisive about which song to pick, but I sticked with my favorite from the beginning with. I just love Eleanor Rigby, the melancholy of the lyrics is just beautiful! I tryed to make a kit with muted colors, somehow I pictured it to scrap the pictures of beloved family members which passed away. Ok, I pictured it to scrap pictures of my favourite aunt who lost the fight against cancer one year ago, she was my godmother, and the godmother of my daughter too, I scrap the pages for my daughter who wont have her in her life, but I want her to get to know her godmother when she is old enough to understand it.

The whole time I was wondering what the hype was about, and now I finally discovered the books for me. I already read the first three books in german, but I was to impatient to wait for the fourth book in german, so I'm reading in english now.

I always wanted to work on a collab with Shauna aka Pineapple Plantation Design, I showed her some colors and she sayed yes, YAY. While she was already working on her part I bought the first book of the twilight series. And after I showed my part to Shauna, she told me this is a twilight Kit, and I looked at the kit again, and YES, it is a Twilight kit!

Von Karina wurde ich auch getaggt, allerdings wie schon in englisch gesagt, ich werd die Kette hier unterbrechen und Niemanden weiter taggen, weil ich einfach nicht genügend Kontakte habe und auch Niemanden belästigen möchte, aber antworten möchte ich trotzdem:

- Ich hasse Hausarbeit, obwohl ich mittlerweise die Dringlichkeit Dinge gleich zu erledigen eingesehen habe
- die meisten Tage habe ich das Gefühl nichts geschafft zu haben, obwohl ich den ganzen Tag beschäftigt war

Leider hab ich bei LDD die nächste Runde verpasst, da wir letztes Wochenende einen kleinen Unfall hatten, und ich beschäftigt war mit Artzt und Notaufnahme abklappern. Es ist nichts wirklich erstes passiert, aber der Schock sitzt tief.
Aber ich wollte euch trotzdem zeigen was ich für die Doodle Challenge gebastelt habe. Ich stelle es nicht als freebie ein, aber ihr solltet die nächsten Tage meinen Blog beobachten, es könnte ja sein, das sich was anbahnt...

So I missed the deadline at LDD, and I'm off, we had a stupid accident last weekend, and I was bussy visiting emergency room, and totaly forgot the deadline. We figured out everything and it's not too bad.

We have just released our first collaboration Walking on sunshine, you may put out your sunglasses, because the colors are BRIGHT and SHINY!!!

This kit is jam-packed with both sunny and shabby goodness! It includes over 80 unique papers and over 280 elements, including floral and glittery overlays, brackets and mats, along with 7 alphabets. Over 750mb all together!

And that’s not all! You can purchase this kit in two separate parts: Bright & Sunny and Shabby & Chic. So heute bin ich dran, ich poste schnell heut nacht, denn morgen bin ich shoppen, ich hab noch kaum ein Weihnachtsgeschenk. Für Ideen für Schwiegereltern bin ich extrem dankbar!
Meine Tochter wartet bestimmt schon im Bett, wie kriegt man Kinder eigentlich zum durchschlafen, ohne Ohrenstöpsel, ich bin so schwach, keine Spur von Konsequenz.

Noch eine Weihnachts Collab, wir vom Scraphouse haben auch an einem riesigen Kit zusammengearbeitet, holt es euch auf dem Scraphouseblog. Es hat riesigen Spaß gemacht mit all den talentierten Mädels zusammenzuarbeiten, die klassischen Weihnachtsfarben wirken echt sehr festlich!

Mein neues Kit ist fertig, Ich bin ja mal gespannt, wie Ihr es findet, farblich passt es nicht so ganz zum herbstlichen Wetter, aber wir haben ja alle noch Sommerbilder auf der Festplatte.
